The Michigan Supreme Court is the highest court in the state of Michigan. Cases appealed from the Michigan Court of Appeals are then heard by the Michigan Supreme Court only if the Court decides to hear the case. The court is located in Lansing at 925 W. Ottawa Street. Michigan Supreme Court justices are elected into office by voters for 8 year terms. There is one chief justice chosen every 2 years. The current justices are:
